They provide 3 different preventive screenings, which include ultrasound, limited electrocardiogram and blood testing. These tests are generally used by medical institutions for the detection of peripheral arterial disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm and atrial fibrillation. Life Line also offers a multitude of other screenings such as high cholesterol, carotid artery disease screening and c-reactive protein screening. In 2017, Life Line Screening pin-pointed approximately 62,000 individuals who were at risk for cardiovascular disease or transient ischemic attack (stroke) but had no known signs of illness. The tests generally only take about an hour but is subject to how many tests are being conducted, the degree of illness, blood make-up and body type.
